Among the earliest examples of pre-recorded movies on Beta and VHS format videocassettes was the Magnetic Video label. Started by home video pioneer Andre Blay, Mag Vid was launched with 50 titles licensed from the 20th Century-Fox film library. In 1980, Fox purchased Magnetic Video and later changed the company's name to "20th Century-Fox Video" in 1982. Around the time of Fox's purchase, Mag Vid changes its logo from the two half-circles to a blocky-stylized "MVC."

The titles presented on this site represent only the early era Magnetic Video library(1977-1980). Basically, just the titles that carried the "half-circles" logo on their boxes are found and displayed here.
