MVC Logo

Magnetic Video was the first label for Laser Discs to be released in the U.S. from 20th Century-Fox. There are no known catalogs however that feature Magnetic Video. The first known catalog is the '20th Century-Fox Video Disc Selector.' This catalog lists all the titles released on the MVC label and also lists others, some of which never were produced at the time on LD.

There are two versions of this 'Video Disc Selector.' Both feature the same cover. Neither provides a date of issue, convenient considering LD had a terrible time releasing product on time during this period of its history. The second version of the 'Video Disc Selector' has a few more titles listed and an index on its inside back cover.
