Considered the "Wonder of LaserVision", and the first title released with CX-Noise Reduction, Olivia-Physical was one of THE discs to own for any new LaserVision purchaser, and stayed, for many years, at the top of the sales charts. Dropped from MCA's catalog in 1986, Physical was never reissued in the USA, although in Japan, several reissues were done, including a digital sound re-pressing.

Discs examined were pressed in Japan, but American pressed copies are known to exist. Since jackets were made in both countries, you must physically examine the disc to determine where it was pressed. This title is known to be affected by rot, especially on side 2. In fact, we've never seen a non-rotted side 2 of Physical. (4 copies were examined) The picture and sound quality are first rate however, still comparing favorably in sound and picture with today's best DVD's. Hopefully, this title will receive a 5.1 channel remastering on DVD.
