Among Vestron Video's launch group is "The Happy Hooker," which is actually on the 'Wonderlust Video' label. Vestron had a handful of titles that they released on sub-labels and a group of "adult" titles are found on this Wonderlust Video label.

No award winner in the category of video/audio quality, "The Happy Hooker" release has a very, very soft and fuzzy image with muted and weak color. The audio is mono and nothing special in quality. The print used has a number of breaks, some of which actually drop a few frames out as they roll through.

A very typical example of what passed as a disc release in the early '80s, but you'd never expect to find quality such as this on a contemporary DVD release today.

Copies examined have been Pioneer American pressings and exhibit the usual amount of video and audio noise that was standard for the Carson, CA plant at this time.
