Released on the 20th Century-Fox Video label, Mel Brooks' "History of the World, Part 1" is a standard example of
what movies looked like on video in the early '80s. The film's transfer is a rough pan-and-scan job with somewhat muted color
and the audio, though stereo, is rather weak. Copies examined have been Pioneer Japanese pressings and are generally
found to be above average in quality.
